Accounts Semi Senior – AAT Studier

Are you an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or Trainee Accountant with at least two years experience in a good quality accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a niche and friendly accountancy firm based in Central London (West End location) which specialises in working with interesting Film, TV, Creative and Media based clients? Are you currently studying the AAT and then looking to start the ACA qualification? Are you keen to work in a firm with high levels of responsibility, work with an interesting client base and be trained so you can improve your overall accountancy skills and specialise in advising high profile clients? Are you also looking for study support for the AAT then ACA exams? Based in a small, niche firm and managing your own portfolio of clients, your role will be varied and include the preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments (bank reconciliations, journal entries, sales and purchase ledger, making payments etc) and being trained on other areas of accountancy where necessary. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from interesting sectors such as Film & TV, Advertising, Media, Entertainment and Sport. You will also use a range of cloud based software packages such as Xero. You will work in a growing and supportive team and be provided with many opportunities to learn new skills and progress in a short space of time.

To be considered for this newly created role due to growth (October 2024) you will likely be an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or Trainee Accountant with at least two years experience and studying the AAT or be AAT Qualified and looking to start the ACA. You must have experience of at least VAT returns and bookkeeping, and it would be an advantage if you had experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax returns but training will be provided. Ideally you will have experience of cloud software packages including Xero. You must also be looking to work in a niche practice that mainly works with Film, TV, Creative and Media based clients.
