Your new company
A distribution company based on the outskirts of Oxfordshire
Your new role

  • Maintain sales ledger accounts
  • Ensuring customer information is correct
  • Setting up new customers
  • Sales orders are invoiced
  • Dealing with queries
  • Reconcile customer accounts
  • Credit limit and payment terms reviews
  • Monitor the ageing of debt
  • Chasing debtors and collect cash (via phone and email)
  • Review and resolve any daily banking
  • Reconciliation of unallocated cash
  • Collect data for cashflow forecasting
  • Assist with month end
  • Assist with the year-end audit
  • Other financial administration


What you'll need to succeed

  • Prior experience of working in a credit control position
  • A good communicator, personable on the phone
  • Ability to effectively chase debt
  • Good with financial systems
  • Need to be confident and can deal with customer queries
  • Professional approach towards customer service
  • You will also be immediately available to start

What you'll get in return

  • £30,000 annual salary
