Joining as a trainee you’ll be the future of Moore. To ensure you succeed we’ll provide all the training and support you need, coupled with the responsibility and autonomy to allow you to grow.  Reporting to the Audit and Accounts Manager, with appropriate guidance and support, you will:


 • Draft working papers to support the preparation of accounts for sole traders and small limited companies.


• Prepare sole trader/company tax computations.


• Assist with audit field work (often attending clients’ premises).


 • Work with different accounting software packages including Sage, Quickbooks, Xero.


 • Learn double entry and bookkeeping skills.


 • Communicate with clients.


 • Support other departments within the firm as and when needed.




 • Study towards a recognised accountancy qualification – AAT followed by ACA for school leavers or ACA for graduates.


• Balance studies and working full time with generous study leave provided by the firm.




• At least three A levels at grade B or equivalent.


• A graduate with at least a grade 2:1 in a relevant field of study


• You’ll also need to have competent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.


 • You must be able to live and work permanently in the UK.

 • A driving licence and access to transport is beneficial as most of our audits are conducted at the client’s premises.
