About Frazier & Deeter

Frazier & Deeter UK are a professional services firm set up in 2019 in the UK. We are not your typical firm of accountants and we like doing things differently. We have a strong United States (US) theme and are part owned by a major independent US firm of public accountants.

We typically help fasting growing technology (including Biotech and Life Sciences) start-up businesses looking to expand internationally, particularly moving to or from the US. In our UK firm, our services are carefully positioned to consider the needs of the passionate individuals who run the businesses we serve, as well as the businesses themselves. Our team members have the opportunity to be involved at the start of a fast growing and exciting business here in the UK, supported by an established and highly regarded accountancy firm in the US.

About the graduate ACA auditor role

Audit is all about examining organisations and ensuring their published accounts provide a 'true and fair' view of their financial position and results. As a graduate trainee, you will challenge and question financial records provided by companies to ensure high audit quality. The work is challenging and rewarding. A questioning mindset is a must, alongside agility and diligence in your approach. On this programme, you'll study for the ACA qualification via an apprenticeship with BPP. Once completed, you will have developed valuable technical skills, broad commercial understanding, and in-depth knowledge of some industry sectors. These skills will be invaluable in building a career in audit, or wider financial roles. As part of a small, but rapidly growing team, fully integrated to the US, the experience at FD will be different to elsewhere. We provide opportunities to understand service lines outside of the audit function, travel to the US, as well as work closely with the senior leadership team in our firm.
