Crowe Watson Recruitment is excited to partner with a prestigious and leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Audit & Accounts Semi Senior. As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality audit and accounting services. You will work closely with senior staff to ensure that client needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and finalisation of all areas of audit assignments.
- Prepare financial statements, ensuring they comply with relevant accounting standards.
- Work directly with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
- Review and compile client accounting records and conduct regular bookkeeping tasks.
- Support senior staff in delivering client projects and maintaining client relationships.
- Assist in the mentoring and development of junior staff members.
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
Requirements:
- Part-qualified ACA or equivalent, or AAT qualified.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A team player with a positive attitude towards learning and professional development.
