Why Corporate Finance?
If you want to get to the heart of what makes businesses tick, then a career in Corporate Finance might be for you. On our Translink Corporate Finance Graduate Scheme, you’ll gain invaluable experience in the Transaction Services/Due Diligence area of Corporate Finance.
Financial due diligence is a key part of assisting our clients with the assessment of potential acquisitions/funding of businesses. A timely, insightful and effective due diligence process contributes greatly to the overall deal process and the success of the opportunity going forwards post completion.
Our team provides advice to a wide range of clients, including corporates, investors and funders. Whatever their ambitions, we’re here to help our clients succeed. If you enjoy analysing and interpreting information to help understand a business’ historical story, current position and future prospects, this role will be of interest to you.
We work across industries and borders, often to tight deadlines. No matter what the deal or deliverable, one thing remains constant – our approach. We believe in clarity, objectivity and accountability at all stages. These are the honest values that have made us successful year after year and are the reasons why clients return to us time after time.
In addition to your time in Corporate Finance, this Graduate Scheme will include a 6-month secondment to BHP’s Audit and/or Accountancy team, allowing you to gain experience in carrying out statutory audits and accounts preparation for companies within a wide variety of sectors. This essential experience will help provide the foundations for a successful career in the Corporate Finance arena.
Don’t have a finance or accountancy degree? No problem! If you have a genuine enthusiasm for high-quality service, a great work ethic and a 2:2 or above, we’d still love to receive your application.
We’ll continue to accept and process Graduate applications on a rolling basis until all vacancies have been filled. We therefore recommend submitting your application as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out on your preferred position/location.
At present, BHP is unable to provide sponsorship to individuals on the Skilled Worker visa (previously known as a Tier 2 (General) work visa). As an employer, we must check that an applicant is allowed to work in the UK before we can employ them. This means you’ll be asked to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK during our application process, and you must be able to obtain and maintain the right to work in the UK for the period of your employment with BHP.
