Where will they be working?
From our office

A unique opportunity to join a growing firm of whom all trained with the big 4 Accountancy firms and have a vast wealth of experience.

Private Clients are at the heart of everything we do and we are re-defining the approach in this space. Our breadth of services for our clients ranges from annual tax compliance right through to more complex tax planning, such as shareholder exit planning (Dealmakers 2021 short-listed), Inheritance Tax/Wealth Succession, business and investment structuring, international clients (domicile/residence), family office and charities/trusts.

We act for a number of leading entrepreneurs and household names predominantly in the Northwest, but also across the UK.

What will you be doing?

Our tax team provides advice to a wide range of individuals, including ultra-high net worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs as well as owner managed businesses. We provide practical advice with our clients’ best interests always at the forefront of what we do. Working closely with our senior tax professionals, you’ll feel yourself improving day by day as they teach you the intricacies of their trade. One moment you could be helping with a transaction as an entrepreneur sells their business: the next, looking at wealth succession.

As our trainee your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of personal tax returns including drafting client communication.
  • Assisting with research assignments and drafting technical documentation.
  • Supporting senior members of staff on more complex client queries.
  • Involvement in client meetings and calls from day one.

We believe that hands-on experience is key to creating well rounded trusted business advisers - this means you'll be doing real work from the start. Working as a team and delivering to clients is the most important part of what we enjoy doing.

Full training support for ICAEW Chartered Accountant qualification will be provided
