Are you a Bookkeeper with at least 2 to 3 years experience (minimum) in a good quality accountancy practice firm, looking to upgrade to a Top 60 accountancy firm in London that specialises in working with high profile individuals and international companies, many from the Film, TV, Media, Theatre, Sport, Entertainment and Creative sectors? Are you looking for a role where you can utilise your European Language skills (either Spanish, French, German or Italian?). Are you also looking for a firm that will offer you hybrid / flexi working, allowing you to work from home twice a week and achieve a good work life balance? Are you also looking for study support for any remaining professional exams? Are you looking to work for a friendly and sociable firm, with good training and support and based in an easily accessible location in the North West part of Central London? Your role will be varied and will include: reporting directly to the Manager, managing your own portfolio of clients, having a very hands on role and liaising directly with all clients, preparing the full range of bookkeeping services for clients (monthly reporting, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger processing, making Payments, Banking, Credit Control etc), preparation of VAT returns, answering client and HMRC queries and offering clients advice how to improve their business. If you have experience of preparing management accounts you can also prepare management accounts for clients. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many exciting growth opportunities in the future. The firm uses modern cloud based software including Xero and Quickbooks Online.

To be considered for this newly created role (November 2023) you must be a Semi Senior Bookkeeper and live within commutable distance to Central London. You must speak, read and write either fluent Spanish, French, German or Italian. You must have at least 2 to 3 years bookkeeping experience (or more) and being Xero Certified would be an advantage.  You must currently be working for a good quality UK based accountancy firm with experience of the above duties, particularly bookkeeping and VAT returns. You must have an interest in working with individuals and businesses from the Film, TV, Media, Sport, Theatre, Entertainment and Creative sectors although you will still gain exposure to other sectors such as property, technology and retail. Experience of a wide range of cloud based software packages is essential. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern Top 60 accountancy firm which will offer you many learning opportunities and the ability to work in a high profile, varied and rewarding new position.

This growing medium size Top 60 accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. The firm has a real family feel, with a very low staff turnover and staff always have successful long term careers at the firm. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of companies and High Net Worth Individuals. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins both in the UK and abroad. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a good quality Semi Senior Bookkeeper from a practice background who can speak a European language, to join a good quality, Top 60 accountancy firm and carry out a high profile role with great support and opportunities for development and progression on offer.
