Your role will be varied and will include: reporting directly to the Manager, managing your own portfolio of clients, having a very hands on role and liaising directly with all clients, preparing the full range of bookkeeping services for clients (monthly reporting, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger processing, making Payments, Banking, Credit Control etc), preparation of VAT returns, answering client and HMRC queries and offering clients advice how to improve their business. If you have experience of preparing management accounts you can also prepare management accounts for clients. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. To be considered for this newly created role (November 2023) you must be a Semi Senior Bookkeeper and live within commutable distance to Central London. You must speak, read and write either fluent Spanish, French, German or Italian. You must have at least 2 to 3 years bookkeeping experience (or more) and being Xero Certified would be an advantage. You must currently be working for a good quality UK based accountancy firm with experience of the above duties, particularly bookkeeping and VAT returns. You must have an interest in working with individuals and businesses from the Film, TV, Media, Sport, Theatre, Entertainment and Creative sectors although you will still gain exposure to other sectors such as property, technology and retail. Experience of a wide range of cloud based software packages is essential.
