SRG LLP
With roots dating back to 1887, when the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) was formed, SRG LLP is a firm of chartered accountants and business advisers founded on the basis of excellent client service, integrity and independence. Today, those attributes remain equally important to us in an increasingly competitive global economy.
Our ethos has always been to provide a professional, jargon-free service to our clients, with our partners committed to demystifying the complexities of the UK’s tax system for everyone, from self-employed individuals to corporate and PLC clients.
The Role
With the broad range of services we cover, you will have the opportunity to work on all of these areas during your training contract. You can also expect your experience and involvement with client work to grow and evolve. You will work closely with existing teams at all levels, including Senior Managers and Partners.
Responsibilities will include –
- Calculating, reviewing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparation of accounts and corporation tax returns, from records through to final statements
- Preparation of personal tax returns and advising in respect of these
- Building relationships across the team while supporting others with tasks.
- Assisting clients with general queries that may arise.
Audit experience is also available during the training period.
Studying towards the ACA qualification will allow you to further progress in your day-to-day role and build up your understanding. You will attend an award-winning college and have full support from a dedicated training Partner within the firm, as well as from others who have recently qualified or are currently studying towards the same qualification.
Application
The successful candidate will be committed to putting in the necessary work to complete the ACA qualification, along with any Level 7 apprenticeship tasks required. They will also have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, at least a 2.1 degree in any subject.
We are looking for a vibrant individual to join our team with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Applicants should send their CV, together with a cover email highlighting their suitability for the role and their reasons for wishing to become a Chartered Accountant.
