Are you an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior, either studying the AAT or ACA, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial West End based practice based in an easily accessible location? If so, this growing niche accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit either a part qualified ACA or an AAT qualified Audit & Accounts Semi Senior due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include: preparing Statutory Accounts from start to finish for Ltd companies, Corporation Tax returns, VAT returns, Audit testing, starting to lead smaller audits yourself from planning to completion (full training provided) and offering clients advise how to improve clients business. Overall your role will be split roughly 60% accounts and tax and 40% audit. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted in a short space of time. No experience of the client base is necessary although a strong interest in working with creative and media clients is essential as most clients will be in this area. The firm offer hybrid working and allow staff to work one day a week from home.
To be considered for this new role (September 2023) you will be a part qualified ACA or a qualified AAT and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish and audit testing. Your current role must be at least 20% - 30% audit based or you could be in a role predominantly audit based and be looking to trained so you can start to prepare statutory accounts. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up or you will already be working for a large practice in an audit based role and looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance, faster progression and training so you can prepare statutory accounts from start to finish. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern niche West End based accountancy firm which is one of the main firms in London which works with high profile media, entertainment, sport, fashion, film & TV clients.
