During your training contract we will pay for your courses and give you time off to study.

This position may include a mixture of home-working as well as well as office-based work.

Liaising with: Partners, Managers, and other staff, along with our clients

Location: Manchester 

The current vacancy is available for the Manchester office with a September 2023 start.

Training Programme and Qualification

The main training pathway for this opportunity is the ACA. ACA - to train for the globally recognised Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualification, enabling individuals to become qualified chartered accountants and members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The duration of this programme is 36 months.

We will also consider applicants who would like to achieve the ACCA. ACCA – to train for the globally recognised Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification, providing a strong grounding in accounting principles, the qualification opens the door to a wide range of career paths across different countries and industry sectors, as well as the ability to work in practice. Please specify if this is your preferred training programme.

Qualification criteria 

  • a minimum of a 2:2 in any discipline (obtained or predicted).
  • 3 A level passes at grade A-C. GCSE Maths and English at grade B and above.

All candidates will be required to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the training contract.

We are looking for people who are quick to learn and seek responsibility for delivering an exceptional professional service to our clients. We will ensure you not only undertake audits but attend client Board meetings, assist in practice development, engage in public speaking and therefore develop a full range of skills.
