From day one you'll start to build a promising career, specialising in the ever-changing field of tax.

This school & college leaver role will be based in Corporate & Indirect Tax and your role will be to support these busy client teams who provide clients with advice and guidance about issues surrounding paying and minimising their tax bills.

Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks which will vary depending upon the area of Tax you join. However generally this will involve:

• Technical research

• Attending meetings with senior staff

• Establishing and developing third party relationships such as with the Inland Revenue

• Drafting client correspondence

• General office duties

Professional Qualifications

You will be able to study towards the ACCA qualification to become a Chartered Certified Accountant. Or alternatively you can study towards the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

Who is this vacancy for?

It doesn't matter who you are or what your schooling background is. As you'll no doubt have gathered by now, we believe diversity is our strength. However you must be academically strong - see below academic requirements.

Academic Requirements

A minimum of 112 UCAS points in one sitting. The subject of your A-levels are not important.

Do you need a Work Permit?

Due to immigration restrictions in Jersey and Guernsey the Channel Islands practice is unable to consider trainee candidates who require work permits. Work permits are currently only granted once candidates are fully professionally qualified.
