The role
We are looking to recruit a minimum of three bright, ambitious graduates to join our Financial Reporting and Transaction Support team on a three-year training contract as part of our ACA Trainee September 2023 graduate intake.
About us
ONE Advisory is a central London specialist Plc advisory firm. Established in 2006, we are a team of accountants and company secretaries and we provide a full suite of outsourced Plc advisory and administration services to our corporate clients, primarily to AIM-listed companies or companies seeking a listing on AIM. We are proudly sector agnostic, and our clients operate in a broad range of sectors: from food & drink to mining; from sports to media; and from IT to building services and are located across the globe.
Training and ONE Advisory
ONE Advisory focuses on people as individuals, allowing you to grow and develop within our firm. As an Authorised ICAEW Training Employer we are dedicated to supporting our employees with their studies. You will be provided with full ACA study support and the role will combine interesting and varied work alongside outstanding personal and professional development opportunities.
From the very beginning of your training, you will work as part of a team on a wide variety of clients and sectors. You will gain strong technical skills in key areas: management accounts, financial reporting, VAT and payroll. Additionally, we you get the opportunity to work on IPOs and other corporate transactions, and it is the variety of the role that sets it apart from other ACA trainee contracts.
Your course training will be provided by First Intuition, with financial and study support towards ACA qualification provided. In addition to this, your studies will follow a government approved Level 7 Apprenticeship standard which enhances all the necessary skills, knowledge and work required to become a qualified accountant.
What we look for
We are looking for graduates who are highly motivated and have a desire to learn, along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. We welcome applications from graduates of any degree discipline; however, we are preferably looking for candidates with an Accounting and Finance degree. To apply candidates should have the following:
- A minimum of 2.2 expected or obtained degree
- 120 UCAS Tariff points or above
What you get in return
In addition to comprehensive training and a competitive base salary, we also offer the following:
- Pension provision 25 days annual leave
- Additional holiday entitlements each calendar year between Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
- Gympass gym membership
- Death in service benefit
- Mobile phone allowance
- An active social committee with frequent and varied events throughout the year
Your future
Every applicant chosen to become one of our trainees is selected on the basis that they have the attributes we believe are required to progress to a very senior level at ONE Advisory. Indeed, some of our current managers and directors trained at ONE Advisory.
