Corporate Tax Graduate Opportunity – Leeds

We are now inviting applications for graduates to join our Leeds team at Sagars (part of the AAB group) in Summer 2023.  Opportunities exist to join our corporate tax team.  Successful applicants will gain quality work experience with us whilst studying for the joint ACA/CTA qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and Chartered institute of Taxation (CIOT) under a Level 7 Accounting Professional Apprenticeship.

In addition to studying for these prestigious qualifications, you will play an important part of our experienced tax teams at an exciting time for both the firm and wider tax-world. In an age of increasing legislation, we aim to meet our clients’ needs with our bespoke support which enables them to understand how the ever-changing tax landscape impacts them and their business. We provide guidance that our clients can rely upon: we manage every aspect of their tax exposure, including preparing returns (to fulfil all their reporting obligations), managing payments and negotiating with HMRC.  

You’ll have your own mentor, and you can expect the full support of our award-winning team throughout your training contract. You’ll get the very best technical training and early responsibility with practical experience across a wide range of clients in a progressive firm that’s embracing the latest tech and is recognised as a cloud accounting leader.

To guarantee the very best technical and personal levels of service, we’re looking for high calibre graduates with the drive and personality to help us meet our clients’ needs.  Competition is tough and you’ll need a minimum ABB at A level (or equivalent) and a 2:1 degree classification (in any discipline) to be considered.

Please note that we are not on the register of visa sponsors and the Graduate Training Programme (ACA) does not meet the salary requirements for a visa. At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK.
