THE ROLE

We are seeking to recruit a Trainee Accounting Technician to work within our Teesside office. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of accounts and bookkeeping; Payroll Completion of tax compliance returns including self-assessment tax returns and VAT. Undertaking audit fieldwork Company secretarial duties;             

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking to recruit a Trainee Accounting Technician. The successful candidate will have at least 5 GCSE passes grade 6-9, including Maths and English, and have achieved or be predicted to achieve either two B’s at A-Level or above. In addition you must also possess/ be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent communication skills A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Good team-playing skills Clear and logical thinking Good IT skills including experience of using excel to a high level Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines A respect for confidentiality
