Bookkeeper – High Profile Music, Media, Sport, Film & TV

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with experience of working with music, creative, media & entertainment clients, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial West End based accountancy practice based in an easily accessible location? Are you looking for a role where you can utilise your bookkeeping and Vat skills, and work with very high profile clients? If so, this growing niche accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit 2 new Bookkeepers due to growth and winning new clients over the past 18 months. Your role will be varied and will include: reporting directly to Manager / Partner level, liaising directly with all clients, preparing a range of bookkeeping tasks for clients, preparation of VAT returns, management accounts (if you have experience) and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary (eg if you need training how to prepare management accounts). You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future. The firm offers hybrid working allowing staff to work one day a week from home.

To be considered for this newly created role (March 2023) you must be an experienced Bookkeeper, probably with at least 2 to 3 years experience (or more) and either AAT qualified or QBE.  You must currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly bookkeeping and VAT returns. You must ideally have experience working with high profile music, media, sport, creative, film and TV clients although the firm would consider candidates with a strong interest in these areas. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up to a larger firm or you will already be working for a large practice and are looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of cloud based software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.
