Are you an Accounts Assistant or Junior Bookkeeper who is studying the AAT Level 3 or 4, looking to upgrade to a very prestigious Top 20 firm based in Central London? Are you keen to utilise your existing bookkeeping and VAT skills and work in a larger firm, gain exposure to larger clients, and be trained so you can progress and start to learn how to produce accounts in a short space of time? Are you also looking for study support so you can finish your AAT and start your ACA exams? Based in the busy business services department, your role will be varied and include a mixture of bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, VAT returns plus the preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts (training will be provided if you don’t yet have experience of accounts preparation work). You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from interesting sectors such as financial services, property, media, entertainment, technology and renewable energy. You will also use cloud based software packages such as Xero, Sage One and Quickbooks Online. You will work in a growing and supportive team and be provided with many opportunities to learn new skills and progress.

To be considered for this new role (March 2023) you will likely be an Accounts Assistant or Junior Bookkeeper, ideally be part way through the AAT and have at least one year experience in a UK based accountancy practice firm. You must have experience of bookkeeping assignments, bank reconciliations and VAT returns. Experience of management accounts and statutory accounts would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided. Ideally you will have experience of cloud based software packages.

This large and well known City based accountancy firm is an excellent place to learn and develop your career. It provides all its staff with supportive working environments where staff can learn new skills and progress. Overall this is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant or Junior Bookkeeper who is studying the AAT and has at least a years experience working in an accountancy firm, to join a large Top 20 firm as an Accounts Assistant and be offered great training, support and future progression.
