Job Details

This is a varied role with hands on client experience, covering matters relating to accounts, VAT, payroll, income tax, corporation tax, tax compliance, management reporting and a wide range of advisory work and business matters, servicing our diverse client base. The industries we work with include the energy sector, telecommunications, cryptocurrencies, real estate, software, FMCG, manufacturing, textiles and professional services amongst others. Our clients are primarily UK based but with significant international exposure.
Initially, this role will primarily focus on supporting one of our Aberdeen based upstream oil and gas clients. This will include the provision of accounting support to the finance and project teams and other general and admin support as required including:
- Processing of third-party invoices and expenses
- Monitoring accounts payable and the preparation of payment runs in the online banking system
- Recording actual results in the financial systems
- Accruals and prepayment analysis
- Intercompany invoicing and review
- Preparing reconciliation reports for month-end closing cycles
- Assisting with the monthly management accounts reporting
- Supporting the annual financial statement preparation
- External and internal audit assistance
- Assisting with budget and forecasting
- Ad-hoc project reporting
- Admin duties as required
- Any other requirements as defined by management
