Are you an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior with between one to two years experience, currently studying the ACA, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial City based practice based in an easily accessible location? Are you looking to work for a niche and entrepreneurial firm which works with a variety of clients, including a mixture of high profile creative, media and entertainment clients, plus property based clients? Are you looking for a newly created role (due to winning new audit clients from some very large firms) which is a mixture of Audit and Statutory Accounts? Your role will be varied and will include: Audit testing, starting to lead smaller audits yourself and carrying out all stages including planning, fieldwork and completion (full training provided by experienced staff) and offering clients advise how to improve clients business. Your role will also include an element of statutory accounts preparation. Overall your role will be split roughly 60% - 70% audit and the remainder of your time on accounts preparation. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted in a short space of time. The firm offer hybrid working and allow staff to work two days a week from home.
To be considered for this new role (January 2023) you will be a part qualified ACA or a qualified AAT and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly audit testing. Your current role must be at least 30% audit based or you could be in a large firm in a role predominantly audit based and be looking to join a smaller firm and carry out a more mixed role. The firm are happy to consider candidates from larger firms that have ACA exam fails. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up or you will already be working for a large practice and are looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance, training how to prepare accounts and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.
