Audit Apprentice

Responsibilities Include

• Reviewing clients’ systems, processes and financial information to confirm that the accounts show a true and fair view.
• Talking to management about their business, results and future plans.
• Performing audit tests taken from our bespoke audit system.
• Using data analytics techniques to examine accounting records for unusual patterns and activity.
• Challenging management to get to the bottom of unexpected results or to better understand their accounting information.
• Working with the audit team to deliver a robust and effective audit You will be working with larger family and owner managed businesses across the North-West of England with most sectors covered.
• Audit works closely with our general practice, digital and tax advisory teams to deliver a comprehensive client service.

Qualifications required:

• Honors Degree.
• A levels 9/A* - 4/C.

Skills required: 

• The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and IT skills with the ability to manage competing pressures, and should be able to communicate well with clients and colleagues.
