We are currently recruiting for a beginning of September 2023 start date and will be looking to bring in graduates in Glasgow.

About Alvarez & Marsal (“A&M”)

For nearly four decades, A&M has set the standard for working with organisations to solve complex problems, boost performance and maximise value for stakeholders. A&M has over 7,000 professionals globally who specialise in delivering turnaround & interim management, performance improvement and consulting services to a range of investors, law firms, corporate clients and private equity firms across the world.

A&M’s Tax practice is a leading provider of tax advisory and compliance services across EMEA and the US and is a member of the global Taxand network of international tax advisers, delivering cross-border tax advice to our clients. You will join a team of high-achieving tax professionals benefiting from personal coaching and mentoring from our senior leaders with years of experience obtained in the Big Four, Industry and/or HMRC.

Throughout the 3-year programme, successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in different specialisms of Tax on a rotation basis, allowing individuals to gain a better understanding of the various tax compliance and advisory paths open to them on successful qualification.  By going through this Tax rotation programme, A&M gives you the opportunity to try all areas of Tax and to find your niche rather than being pigeonholed too soon in your career.  The programme will offer you variety and an opportunity to challenge yourself and your skills.

We will support you through your training to become both a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and from your first day in the office you will be involved in providing commercial and practical tax advice to our clients and expanding your own knowledge and skillsets.
