Are you an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior, either studying the AAT or ACA, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial West End based practice based in an easily accessible location? Are you looking to work for a niche firm which is one of the main firms in London that works with high profile media, sport, entertainment, fashion, film, TV & entertainment clients? Are you looking for a role which is a mixture of Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax, VAT returns and Audit? If so, this growing niche accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit either a part qualified ACA or an AAT qualified Accounts & Audit Semi Senior due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include: managing your own portfolio of clients, preparing Statutory Accounts from start to finish for Ltd companies, Corporation Tax returns, VAT returns, Audit testing, Bookkeeping and offering clients advise how to improve clients business. Overall your role will be split roughly 70% accounts and tax and 30% audit. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as management accounts, various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted in a short space of time. No experience of the client base is necessary although a strong interest in working with creative and media clients is essential as your client base will be 100% in this area. The firm offer hybrid working and allow staff to work one day a week from home.

To be considered for this new role (September 2022) you will be a part qualified ACA or a qualified AAT and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish, audits and VAT returns. Your current role must be at least 20% audit based. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up to a larger firm or you will already be working for a large practice and are looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern niche West End based accountancy firm which is one of the main firms in London which works with high profile media, entertainment, sport, fashion, film & TV clients.

This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. The firm has a real family feel, with a very low staff turnover and staff always have successful long term careers at the firm. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of clients from a wide range of creative industries. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms, including the Big 4. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a good quality part qualified ACA Accounts & Audit Semi Senior from a practice background to join a good quality, niche and modern accountancy firm based in a West End location and carry out a high profile accounts based role with great support and genuine progression on offer.
