Immediate and September 2022 start.

We want to hear from bright, ambitious graduates who are keen to join our growing Outsourced Business Services team. This is a great opportunity for motivated, articulate and career-minded individuals to progress in a career within accountancy.

Your Role

Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect as a AAT - ACA - ACCA - CTA Management Accountant Associate:

Providing tailored financial expertise

Our Financial Management Solutions (FMS) team act as the outsourced finance function for a wide range of businesses including young and fast-growing owner-managed start-ups through to large, well-established multinationals. Our clients operate in a variety of industries including creative (tv/film), financial markets, green & sustainability, and technology to name a few. This varied experience will allow you to gain exceptional insight into finance functions of all shapes and sizes.

Outside the client work, many of the team choose to get involved in the wider firm by joining one of a number of groups, from charity and social committees to the diversity team, or by training as a mental health first-aider. We work closely with our audit, and tax departments and these groups and committees are a great way to bring the different teams together in a working environment. The team enjoy a good social and many of us can often be found spending time with each other outside of office hours.

You will work with a portfolio of clients large and small to prepare their annual financial statements, monthly/quarterly management reports, and assist with VAT, payroll and regulatory compliance. As you progress you will be given more and more responsibility, ultimately being handed clients to manage, whilst taking on more future-focussed assignments, from forecasting to advisory work.

The Programmes

Our Management Accountant trainee programme is designed to give you the qualifications, skills, and experiences you need to embark on a rewarding career.

Graduates

During your three-year programme, you’ll be learning, gaining real-work experience, and studying towards your ACA / ACCA / CTA qualification.

School-leavers

During your four or five-year programme, you’ll be learning, gaining real-work experience, and studying towards your AAT qualification.

You will be completing the AAT, ACA, ACCA or CTA professional qualifications so that you have the technical expertise and insight to advise our clients.

Qualification Pathways

We offer different study paths to suit your experience and area of focus. Whichever route you take, we ensure you get time off work to attend college, complete online learning, and sit your exams.

Ecovis enjoys a supportive and collaborative working environment. While you’re working towards your professional qualification you have the benefit of being able to turn to an appointed mentor who has been through it themselves.

Entry Requirements:

Graduates: You will have achieved, or on course to achieve, at least a 2:2 degree from a university.  The subject of your degree is not important, in fact we actively encourage candidates who have not studied accounting & finance related degree subjects.

School Leavers: A-levels or equivalent and a Level 6 / Grade B or above in GCSE Maths and English Language.
