Graduate ACA Trainee Accountant

Scodie Deyong is a firm of Chartered Accountants established in 1975. We are a general practice specialising in providing accountancy, audit and tax services as well as general business advice to a diverse range of both corporate and individual clients.

We offer a three year apprenticeship training programme which couples external studies along with in-house training and seminars. The training program is designed to enable our students to pass the ACA examinations first time and assignments in the office are organised to assist understanding as you progress through your ACA scheme of studies.

As we are a general practice, trainees are exposed to a wide variety of interesting work in all areas including audit and tax. Each assignment varies and requires different thought processes to be put in action.

Due to our size, trainees are given a lot of responsibility at an early stage and have direct contact with not only managers and partners but also clients. Trainees have the opportunity to complete assignments in full so they understand each and every aspect of what is required.

As we are predominately a training firm, trainees are surrounded by colleagues who have recently been in the same position and are able and willing to assist with their development. Our firm provides ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your potential.

We do not require a relevant degree but this, along with any relevant work experience will strengthen your application. We are currently inviting applications for an ACA training contract starting August 2022.
