ACA Graduate Trainee Accountant – Medium Size Practice

Are you a recent graduate (2021 or later) with strong academics - at least a 2ii degree (in any subject) and strong A level (at least 100 UCAS points) and GCSE grades (including at least a B / 6 grade in both Maths and English), looking to now start your accountancy career and receive a 3 year ACA training contract and first rate training and support from a prestigious medium size accountancy firm based in Central London? Are you looking for a role where you can start in September 2022? This well known mid size accountancy firm with around 65 staff is looking to recruit two high calibre graduates to join their busy team and receive training for the prestigious ACA qualification. You will have the benefit of gaining exposure to all areas of accountancy – bookkeeping and Vat returns to start with then being trained on statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns as well as some audit assignments after 6 to 12 months. You can expect to become an expert business advisor and progress to a high level and take on an increasing amount of responsibility in a short space of time. Your role will eventually be split 80% accounts & tax with up to 20% of your time spent on audit assignments. Full training and support will be offered and you will form part of a graduate intake of a number of graduates. You will work on a wide range of interesting clients including owner managed business, growing entrepreneurial clients and larger listed international businesses, and you will receive an excellent insight into how a successful business should be run.

To be considered for this great new opportunity (June 2022) you must be a recent graduate with at least a 2ii degree and strong A Level and GCSE grades. You must also be looking to become an ACA qualified accountant and be ready to carry out a role that includes working and studying. You must also demonstrate an interest in business and have researched the accountancy profession and the ACA qualification. You must be looking to gain experience of all the main areas of accountancy – accounts preparation, tax returns, auditing, Vat returns and bookkeeping. You must live within commutable distance to Zone 1 Central London (West End location) and you must also be available to start your new role in September 2022.  You must have drive, ambition and determination to do well in your career.
