ACA Part Qualified Accounts Semi Senior
Are you a part qualified ACA Accounts Semi Senior / General Practice Semi Senior from an independent practice firm looking to upgrade to a very good quality, traditional medium size London based accountancy firm and carry out a varied role consisting of accounts preparation work, tax returns and audit assignments (optional)? Are you keen to work in a very good quality traditional ACA training firm with excellent progression training and support on offer for all ICAEW trainees? Your role will be split 70% statutory accounts and tax with 20% spent on audit assignments (optional if you don’t have audit experience or don’t want to carry out audit work) and 10% spent on ad hoc projects such as management accounts, cashflows, budgets, forecasts etc). Based in a general practice role in a firm with around 50 staff, you will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients, as well as corporation tax computations and working on small audit assignments (if you wish to carry out audit assignments). You will deal with client queries and also be responsible for working both by yourself and also in a team for various assignments. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great progression prospects on offer. In this new role, you will gain exposure to a wide range of UK and international clients, including groups, from sectors including media and entertainment, property, legal, technology, renewable energy, retail and other interesting sectors. The firm would look at a part qualified ACA with a minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant mixed practice role, ideally from a small or medium size firm. You MUST have first time passes in your ACA exams to date. This firm has had great success with people who have trained outside of London and want to relocate to a London firm for the exposure and opportunities on offer. Experience of Caseware would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.
To be considered for this new role (June 2022) you must have at least two years experience, probably in a small or medium size accountancy firm with between 3 and 10 partners, and be studying the ACA and looking to move to another firm where you can finish your ACA exams and become fully qualified. First time passes are essential. You must have experience of preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and working on audit assignments would be an advantage but not essential. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Caseware would be an advantage as is a desire to work in a mixed general practice role. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace. The firm welcomes applications from candidates looking to relocate to London from another UK based practice firm.
This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of high profile and growing London based clients as well as international clients. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms. This is a unique opportunity for a small or medium firm ACA Part Qualified Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join an entrepreneurial and forward thinking practice and play a role of great importance to the continued growth of the firm. It is also a great opportunity to progress to Senior level in a short space of time.
