Trainee Accountant Position

We currently have a vacancy for a motivated school leaver/graduate to work toward becoming a Chartered Accountant by completing a training programme.

The successful applicant will receive on-the-job training towards the ACA qualification and will work in a wide range of general practice areas such as:

• Preparation of accounts for companies, sole-traders and partnerships Preparation of corporation tax returns Preparation of personal tax returns for business owners Audit VAT Payroll

You will:

• Develop an understanding of our clients and their businesses Complete audit programmes and form conclusions on each individual test and section completed Highlight issues and problems for the attention of senior management Become familiar with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks

A successful accountant will:

• Be committed and motivated to studying towards the ACA qualification Be able to deliver a first-class client service and work effectively as part of a team Demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Have a high level of general commercial awareness

All study costs are included in the employment package and study leave will be provided for attending college with our training partner.

About The Firm

We are a firm of Chartered Accountants based near The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells with a team of roughly twenty people, including seven partners.

We are a friendly office and upcoming team-building activities include an inflatable 5k run at Brands Hatch and the aqua park at Bewl Water.
