OPPORTUNITY
The Manchester office of Royce Peeling Green Limited (“RPG”) is currently recruiting for intelligent, articulate and commercially astute graduates for our September 2022 intake (earlier may be possible). The role will provide full training as part of the Level 7 Apprenticeship Programme towards the ICAEW professional qualification.
RPG was established over 100 years ago in Manchester and has remained one of the major independent firms of Chartered Accountants in the city since that time. We also have an office in North Wales. As well as our accountancy practice we have a financial planning and wealth management business, RPG Chartered Financial Planners.
We act for a wide variety of businesses across a range of sectors with turnovers ranging from £50,000 to over £300 million. Each business is unique and faces different challenges but by having this range of expertise, it enables us to be very confident in our ability to deliver a great service to any client.
It is our belief that great client service requires significant Director involvement with our clients and we have structured our business to enable us to deliver that service.
We pride ourselves on understanding the needs of our staff and value our Team having a healthy work life balance.
SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Working towards the ICAEW professional qualification involves comprehensive work experience and a study program using specialist training companies for tuition and exam support. We offer paid study leave in addition to your annual holiday entitlement.
There are various service lines within our business including accounts preparation, audit, corporate and personal tax, and corporate recovery, to name a few. You will mainly work in our accounts and audit compliance departments where you will learn how to prepare financial information and gain knowledge of broader commercial, financial and taxation issues whilst also undertaking audits.
You will not only be dealing with numbers but working as part of a team with colleagues and clients. We do not expect you to be the finished article on recruitment but we need to be sure that the potential and ability is there so you can be properly trained.
APPLICATION CRITERIA
Applicants should have at least an upper second class degree, in addition to UCAS tariff score of 300 / 120 (equivalent to BBB at A-Level). We accept applicants from relevant and non-relevant degree disciplines.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Applications should be made by 15 June 2022
