Audit & Accounts Semi Senior – Medium size Practice

Are you an ACA part qualified Audit Semi Senior from a medium or large firm or an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior from a small firm background, looking to upgrade to a medium size (70 staff) accountancy practice firm based in Central London? Are you looking to work in a role mixed 50% Audit and 50% Accounts and Tax? Are you looking to join a leading accountancy firm with a very good reputation and strong history of training and supporting staff so they finish their remaining ACA exams at first attempt, as well as providing all staff with varied and challenging roles? Based in the Audit and Assurance department, your role will be general practice based – 50% Audit & Assurance and 50% Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax with an element of client advisory work. You will be responsible for the testing phase of audits and be trained so you can start to lead audits from planning to completion as well as manage a small team and review work. You will also be responsible for producing statutory accounts and draft corporation tax computations from start to finish. Your clients will be varied and include industries such as media, entertainment, property, creative, retail, renewable energy, technology etc with turnovers to £100m although most of your clients will be between £20m and £50m. You will gain exposure to groups as well as international clients. There will also be genuine opportunities for you to progress in the future. The firm operates a flexible / hybrid working policy with staff working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

To be considered for this new role you must be a part qualified ACA Semi Senior with a minimum of 2 years of practice experience. You will be working in a good quality practice firm in a role at least 30% - 40% audit based and looking to upgrade to a firm where you will carry out a mixed general practice role consisting of audit, accounts and tax assignments. This firm has had great success with candidates who live outside of London and are looking to relocate to London and work in a good quality, friendly medium size accountancy firm which offers great training, support and progression for all staff. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage as would enthusiasm to progress in a short space of time.
